LOGEsoft – SRM spray model

As of November 2013, the LOGEsoft SRM model incorporates a kinetic spray model designed to study vaporization phenomena in in-cylinder sprays. The model captures effects of the droplet size distribution, droplet transport, liquid and vapour thermodynamics, multi-component fuel compositions and spray geometry, all while keeping the time-efficiency of our zero-dimensional models.

The SRM spray model has been tested in-house at LOGE during 2013, and will be published for the first time at the SAE World Congress 2014. We at LOGE are excited to be able to offer this addition to our model catalogue to our customers! Don’t hesitate to contact us for any questions or inquiries.
